I recently had a great time selling books at Hjelm Dyb Festival, a fantasy convention held at the beautiful Rosenholm Castle, surrounded by a moat, picturesque lakes, and a forest.
I put my latest book up for purchase and celebrated its release in the master’s stable :-)
The festival’s name is inspired by its closeness to the real-world location of Hjelm Dyb (Helm's Deep in English) and Isengard (or Isgard in Danish.) Tolkien used maps of the area as inspiration for key locations used in The Lord of the Rings novels.
No wonder the Nazgûl showed up and tried to kill everyone, but luckily for us, the good guys won the last battle held on a field close to the castle.
Before you leave, listen to the musicians play beautifully in the video and click on the images in the gallery to see them full size. See you there next year!
